Herbal Trauma Medicine – When Every Second Counts

Herbal Trauma Medicine - When Every Second Counts

In the course of any given day you never know what will happen. One moment everything is normal and the next moment all the wheels come off. A slip, a fall, a cut, a bruise or even much worse--that's how accidents and tragedies happen, out of the blue. If you have been around any length of time then you have had to face some kind of medical emergency. How we deal with those emergencies can mean the difference between being sick or being well, sustaining permanent injury or temporary pain, life or even death. That's how medical trauma happens, usually when we least expect it.

If you or someone you love were to face a medical emergency how would you handle it? Would you be up to the challenge? If someone fell and hit their head and passed out, what would you do? If you suffered a serious cut or wound, how would you stop the bleeding and prevent an infection? If someone received a serious burn what would be your course of action?

We all need to have a medical emergency kit for home, work, or in our cars so that we will always be prepared for the unexpected. I have been thinking about this for a long time. As things get worse economically we may not always have access to doctors and hospitals. We will need to be able to attend to medical emergency ourselves. The question then becomes, are we up for the challenge?

While thinking about this and doing a little research on the Web, I ran across some very good videos on medical emergencies using herbal medicine. I also found a couple of good videos on how to apply CPR. The videos related to treating trauma with herbal medicine are broken into segments which make it easier to view them. While Dr. Schultze is selling his line of herbal products in these videos, these are still good instructional videos. If you want to purchase some of his products feel free.  He does a good job of formulating his products. I learned about herbal healing and medicine from Dr. Schultze over 10 years ago.

The great thing though is that you can even make most of the tinctures mentioned in the videos yourself such as cayenne tincture (probably the most important emergency medicine), lobelia tincture, Echinacea tinctures, as well as ointments like jojoba and tea tree oil lotion.

YAH willing, I plan to make a quick video (hopefully soon) that will teach you how to quickly and easily make your own tinctures. Anyway here are the videos, please take a look when you get a chance. As I find more trauma vides I will add them to the blog.

Thank you for the links to Dr. Schultze's videos. There is a wealth of information in them.
I never knew there were so many herbal first-aid tinctures so easily produce-able at home.
    Thanks again . . .
