Did you know that the U.S. has the highest rates of cancer in the whole world? It's true, and really I guess none of us should be shocked. One out of every two American men and one out of three women in the U.S. will get cancer in their lifetimes.

This means that if you have 4 brothers and 3 sisters in a family, two of your brothers and one sister are expected to get cancer in their lifetimes. These statistics come courtesy of the American Cancer Society. And speaking of the American Cancer Society, for an institution that has been around almost 100 years, it has done nothing in all those years to alleviate or mitigate the ravages of the disease. But it is good at fundraising.

When you examine cancer, you realize that this disease is principally an environmental disease caused by bad food, bad water, bad air, radiation poisoning. All of nature has been pretty much contaminated. And of course we know that this destruction of nature is being perpetrated by the enemy. And this is one of the reasons all of nature is groaning to be redeemed. Cancer has become so common that I doubt that there is a family that has been left unscathed.

Here is a link to video about the cancer and the purposeful contamination of our food by greedy, demonic men bent on profit at the expense of life on the planet.

http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2011/06/14/why-are-there-so-many-food-allergies-now.aspx

We Are What We Eat

The best way to fight cancer is through your diet. Eat organic foods, juice organic vegetables, grow your own food from heirloom seeds and not genetically modified ones. Supplement with iodine, beta glucan, baking soda, vitamin D and magnetic clay. And don't forget superfoods like chlorella, wheatgrass, barley, spirulina. Also, don't forget to protect the liver by using milkthistle seed extract. Here are some links that talk more about superfoods and how to combat radiation poisoning:

http://blog.imva.info/medicine/superfood-for-cellular-survival

http://blog.imva.info/medicine/treatments-nuclear-contamination

You should also take more vitamin D3. There is a chart below that provides dosing information. Now, if you already have pre-existing issues, you can take up to 1,000 units per pound of body weight of Vitamin D all in one dose, every day for three days. So for example, if you weigh 150 pounds you would take a 150,000 IU dose for 3 days. If you are concerned about the toxicity of mega doses of vitamin D, The Merck Manual says that in order to produce toxicity; you would need to consume 50,000 IUs a day for several months. So taking mega doses over just 3 days should be very safe.

Radiation and Child Mortality

Now the second item that I want to talk about is radiation and child mortality. Since the Fukushima disaster in Japan there has been a significant increase in infant and child deaths in the U.S. Many of these are sudden deaths that seem to have no rhyme or reason. In Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and parts of the Pacific Northwest the problem has been particularly acute. Listen to this report from a local news station in Philly:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ycfhek_0rc8&feature=player_embedded.

If you have children under the age of 12, then you should take special precautions to protect them from radiation danger. If you are pregnant or are a nursing mother then your child is at an even higher risk of radiation poisoning. So the question is, what can we do to combat this hazard that makes children so vulnerable?

Children can usually take many of the same things that we take to combat radiation poisoning. They just have to take them in smaller doses. Doses are usually based on body weight. Most manufacturers of herbal medicines have dosing charts on their products that indicate how much of the product children should take. With superfoods like chlorella and spirulina, you don't have much to worry about in terms of overdosing because of the benign nature of these foods. The same is true for powerful supplements like Del-Immune and Beta Glucan, overdosing should not be an issue.

Nutrients like Vitamin D are dosed based on body weight. The best form of vitamin D as a supplement is Vitamin D3. The recommended daily amount suggested by Dr. Joseph Mercola's is

10,000 units per day for a 300 pound person

5,000 units per day for a 150 pound person

4,000 units per day for a 100 pound person

2,000 units per day for a large child

1,000 units per day for a small child

When it comes to herbal tinctures that contain alcohol, these would need to be modified for children under 7 years old. Please note that alcohol can be evaporated from herbal tinctures by placing the tincture in hot water. Other products like baking soda, magnetic clay, wheatgrass juice, etc. would also need some monitoring. For infants and children under 7 years old more caution is required for taking these kinds of remedies. If you have good naturopathic doctors in your area check with them regarding dosage. I will try to find and post more information about dosing for infants and children under 7 years old.

Finally, see my other blog post, Special Alert: Nuclear Fallout A Big Possibility in U.S. - Things You Can Do and the one titled, Don't Want to Die from Cancer? for more information about radiation and cancer.

Special Alert: Nuclear Fallout A Big Possibility In U.S. – Things You Can Do

Special Alert: Nuclear Fallout A Big Possibility in U.S. - Things You Can Do

Brothers and sisters due to the catastrophe in Japan, there is a strong possibility that the United States, particularly the West Coast, may be impacted over the next several days by nuclear fallout. The news may be worse than previously reported—follow this link. The path of these nuclear clouds though not completely certain, are predicted to waft across the West Coast and then into the Midwest.

The first link below shows the projected path of the nuclear cloud over a ten-day period.

http://img847.imageshack.us/img847/438/fallout.jpg

This next link gives a real time picture of the amount of radiation detected in atmosphere across the United States.
Radiation Network

Brothers and sisters I believe there is a good chance that there will be nuclear contamination of various sites across the U.S. We must be prayerful and vigilant. We may even want to take some precautions. Listed below are two of the finest articles written on nuclear contamination precautions and how to protect our bodies.
http://blog.imva.info/medicine/iodine-treatments-radiation-exposure

http://blog.imva.info/medicine/treatments-nuclear-contamination

“If a radiation cloud from Japan’s damaged nuclear reactors eventually reaches the western United States, it could pose a threat to American crops and the people who eat them…At about 100 to 400 rads you drastically increase death risk. Once you get above 600 rads, about 95 percent of people are going to die within two weeks. This is what they’re worried about.” Read more: Dr. Blaylock: Japan Radiation Could Pose Threat to US . He lists some very important things you can do to protect yourself.

In addition to the things mentioned in these articles, you may also want to purchase some Del-Immune V which is a powerful immune system booster. I would also suggest milkthistle seed extract or tincture to protect the liver. And, cilantro tincture or tea is a great detoxifying agent. Parsley helps to support the kidneys, so juicing parsley is a good idea. Then there is beta glucan, garlic, curcumin, ginger root, magnesium, and melatonin.

Now, you may not be able to purchase all the items mentioned, but if I had to narrow the list down to the most essential, I would get me some nascent iodine, baking soda, beta glucan, milkthistle seed tincture, garlic, and spirulina. I would also get a nebulizer if you can afford one. A nebulizer allows you to get these nutrients into an aerosol mist and gets them directly into the respiratory system. They are great for administering nutrients such as glutathione and baking soda to infants and young children.

While all of these things can help, even if there is no fallout in your area, it is not a waste of money. These nutrients will make you healthy regardless of what happens. The main thing is to be prayerful and be wise in these end times.

P.S. I don’t want to fail to mention that taking these supplements in high doses, especially iodine may induce a healing crisis. That’s where your body is dumping so many toxins that you feel like you are getting sick or catching a cold or the flu. So be aware of this. Secondly, in the case of iodine, I am talking about edible iodine not the kind used for cuts and bruises. That kind of iodine is called elemental iodine and is toxic at high doses. You can get consumable iodine from health food stores. Lugol’s solution is a form of iodine that is edible. Just ask for edible iodine if you are buying it from the store.

May Yah's peace and promises keep us safe and confident,

Yahchanan,

Don't Want to Die from Cancer?

Don't Want to Die from Cancer?

If you have ever lost a loved one to cancer you know that it is such a terrible disease. The pain and agony that it inflicts on the patient as well as family and friends is simply awful. Though the official statistics don't say it, I believe cancer may be responsible for as many deaths as heart disease. The fact is that many cancer deaths are often misclassified. According to a study published in the American Journal of Public Health, cancer deaths could be understated by as much as 35%. That's a large percentage. And providing further confirmation is the American Heart Association: "According to the latest statistics compiled by the American Heart Association, cancer surpasses heart disease as the top killer among Americans between the ages of 45 to 74."

Recent studies suggest that cancer is a man-made disease. After examining Egyptian mummies (and even the bones of Neanderthals) scientists have concluded that cancer is a new disease. Largely the results of excess and a poisoned and toxic environment which translates to bad air, food, and water. We have talked before about using things like magnesium chloride, baking soda, selenium and iodine to fight cancer. And these natural medicines are changing the medical landscape for the better. However, I think it is always good to hear from people on the ground so to speak. Those who have rebounded from this deadly disease. So I have listed links to two must-read articles for you to take a look at.

The first one, titled Natural Allopathic Medicine Cures, lists some really great testimonials that may inspire you to start or continue on your regimen of natural healing. It can be found here:

http://blog.imva.info/medicine/natural-allopathic-medicine-cures

The second article, titled I Don’t Want to Die from Cancer, refutes some of the recently published information about taking low-dose aspirin to reduce your cancer risk. Aspirin may reduce cancer risk in some patients but at a cost. Aspirin causes internal bleeding and gastric inflammation. It is not something you would want to take every day of your life. Read the article below to find out some better ways of protecting yourself from cancer.

http://blog.imva.info/medicine/i%C2%A0don%E2%80%99t-want-to-die-from-cancer

Herbal Trauma Medicine – When Every Second Counts

Herbal Trauma Medicine - When Every Second Counts

In the course of any given day you never know what will happen. One moment everything is normal and the next moment all the wheels come off. A slip, a fall, a cut, a bruise or even much worse--that's how accidents and tragedies happen, out of the blue. If you have been around any length of time then you have had to face some kind of medical emergency. How we deal with those emergencies can mean the difference between being sick or being well, sustaining permanent injury or temporary pain, life or even death. That's how medical trauma happens, usually when we least expect it.

If you or someone you love were to face a medical emergency how would you handle it? Would you be up to the challenge? If someone fell and hit their head and passed out, what would you do? If you suffered a serious cut or wound, how would you stop the bleeding and prevent an infection? If someone received a serious burn what would be your course of action?

We all need to have a medical emergency kit for home, work, or in our cars so that we will always be prepared for the unexpected. I have been thinking about this for a long time. As things get worse economically we may not always have access to doctors and hospitals. We will need to be able to attend to medical emergency ourselves. The question then becomes, are we up for the challenge?

While thinking about this and doing a little research on the Web, I ran across some very good videos on medical emergencies using herbal medicine. I also found a couple of good videos on how to apply CPR. The videos related to treating trauma with herbal medicine are broken into segments which make it easier to view them. While Dr. Schultze is selling his line of herbal products in these videos, these are still good instructional videos. If you want to purchase some of his products feel free. He does a good job of formulating his products. I learned about herbal healing and medicine from Dr. Schultze over 10 years ago.

The great thing though is that you can even make most of the tinctures mentioned in the videos yourself such as cayenne tincture (probably the most important emergency medicine), lobelia tincture, Echinacea tinctures, as well as ointments like jojoba and tea tree oil lotion.

YAH willing, I plan to make a quick video (hopefully soon) that will teach you how to quickly and easily make your own tinctures. Anyway here are the videos, please take a look when you get a chance. As I find more trauma vides I will add them to the blog.

Herbal Trauma Medicine

CPR

CPR For Children

Cures for Sinus Headaches

Cures for Sinus Headaches

Sinusitis is defined as inflammation of the paranasal sinuses, which may be due to infection, allergy or autoimmune issues. Most cases are due to a viral infection and resolve over the course of 10 days. It is a common condition with more than 24 million cases occurring in the United States annually.

Chronic sinusitis, by definition, lasts longer than three months and can be caused by many different diseases that share chronic inflammation of the sinuses as a common symptom. Symptoms of chronic sinusitis may include any combination of the following: nasal congestion, facial pain, headache, night-time coughing, an increase in previously minor or controlled asthma symptoms, general malaise, thick green or yellow discharge, feeling of facial 'fullness' or 'tightness' that may worsen when bending over, dizziness, aching teeth, and/or halitosis. Each of these symptoms has multiple other causes. Unless complications occur, fever is not a feature of chronic sinusitis.

The cause of sinusitis can vary and may include allergies, environmental factors such as dust or pollution, bacterial infection, or fungal infection. It can be the result of allergic reactions to foods such as milk or gluten; so complete elimination of this condition may require identifying the allergen that causes it.

Below are some of the natural cures I have used to address my own bouts with sinusitis:

1. Supertonic - I drink it and I use the supertonic mash as well. The supertonic mash seems to be the most effective for sinusitis, at least in my case. I just take a heaping spoonful and place it in my mouth between my back teeth. I just let it sit there sometimes for an hour or more and usually my sinus pain begins to dissipate.

2. Horse radish root and garlic - These are two very good herbs for alleviating sinusitis and both are contained in Super Tonic.

3. Nasal irrigation - Flushing the sinuses with saline solution can also work wonders.

4. Super nutrients - Getting super nutrients into your system can boost your immune system and fight sinus infection. High doses of vitamin C (500 mg or more a day); vitamin D3 (3,000 to 5,000 IUs per day); spirulina (3 teaspoons of the powder per day); baking soda (1 teaspoon in 8 ounces of water 2-3 times per day; magnesium oil treatments (daily body rubs).

5. Herbal teas - Some of the best herbal teas for sinusitis are eucalyptus, peppermint, and ginger teas. Drink 3 cups per day of any of these teas. Or, you may want to do what I do and drink a combination of all these teas. I mix the eucalyptus, peppermint, and ginger together and brew them into one tea mixture. I then drink 3 cups of this mixture a day. You may also want to add milkthistle seed tincture to your teas to help tone the liver. Liver problems can cause congestion. One dropperful of milkthistle seed extract per cup should be sufficient.

Here are some links to a couple of good articles on natural remedies for sinusitis. Be careful of the remedy that suggests using grapefruit seed extract. Grapefruit seed extract when overused is a very strong mucous irritant. In fact, I would not use it for sinusitis.

Do you have friends or family members that have epileptic seizures? Did you know that some seizures may be caused by diet? Well it's true. Recent research has shown that diets low in omega-3 and omega-9 fats can lead to seizures. In addition, diets high in omega-6 oils can also lead to seizures because the omega-6 oils cause an imbalance of good fats in our bodies. Most Americans are getting way too much omega-6 fatty acids in their diets. That's because almost all cooking oil in this country come from vegetable sources. Oils high in omega-6 fats are canola, corn, soybean, peanut, safflower, sunflower, and sesame.

Ironically, oil made from animals is much better for us than are vegetable oils with the exception of olive oil, flaxseed oil, and chia seed which are very high in beneficial omega-3 oils. The problem with chia and flaxseed oils is that they are not very good for cooking because they burn easily at high temperatures. That leaves olive oil and animal oils as the best choices for cooking. However, with that being said, you should be consuming flaxseed and chia seeds in ways other than cooking. You can put them in your salads; sprinkle them on smoothies, or just eat them by themselves.

However just remember if you decide to eat flaxseeds, that they must be ground up first before your body can use them. Chia seeds do not have to be ground up and they are actually higher in omega-3 fats than even flaxseeds. Chia seeds and flaxseeds can also help you to lose weight and they do wonders for the skin. They are also great natural laxatives. You should try to consume 3 tablespoons of either flaxseeds or chia seeds each day.

Now, back to seizures. According to conventional medicine, an epileptic seizure, occasionally referred to as a fit, is defined as a transient symptom of "abnormal excessive or synchronous neuronal activity in the brain". The outward effect can be as dramatic as a wild thrashing movement (tonic-clonic seizure) or as mild as a brief loss of awareness. It can manifest as an alteration in mental state, tonic or clonic movements, convulsions, and various other psychic symptoms. Sometimes it is not accompanied by convulsions but a full body "slump", where the person simply will lose control of their body and slump to the ground. The medical syndrome of recurrent, unprovoked seizures is termed epilepsy, but seizures can occur in people who do not have epilepsy.

About 4% of people will have an unprovoked seizure by the age of 80 and yet the chance of experiencing a second seizure is between 30% and 50%. Treatment may reduce the chance of a second one by as much as half. Most single episode seizures are managed by primary care physicians (emergency or general practitioners), whereas investigation and management of ongoing epilepsy is usually done by neurologists. Difficult-to-manage epilepsy may require consultation with an epileptologist, a neurologist with an interest in epilepsy.

There is no question that seizures are scary, especially when it affects a child. I know some children who have seizures and ironically they are vegetarians. It should be noted that people who don't eat a lot of meat also often develop epileptic seizures. Posted below is a link to a good article on seizures and omega-3 deficiencies. If you decide to try fish oils as the article recommends, only get those brands certified not to contain mercury. Mercury is a very toxic heavy metal that can make matters worse. In addition to increasing consumption of omega-3 oils, it may also be prudent to increase the amount of vitamin D3 being consumed--3,000 to 5,000 IUs per day.

Several months ago I noticed a building going up not far from where I live. Being the curious type that I am (or nosy as some might say) I wanted to find out what was going up in my neck of the hood. After all, not many nice buildings are being built in my area of town. So one could understand my curiosity. The construction company had worked on the building for more than 3 months. But there was no sign placed on the building for weeks. What could this thing be I mused. Then a couple of weeks ago, here comes the sign: Davita Dialysis. Umph, I should have known. A business that profits off a condition that plagues Black folk--kidney disease.

According to the Journal of the National Medical Associaion: "Numerous studies have documented the presence of racial disparities among Americans in health outcomes with respect to cardiovascular disease, infant mortality, cancer, and kidney disease. With regard to kidney diseases, these disparities are more dramatic. African, Hispanic, and Native Americans have the highest risks of end-stage renal disease (ESRD). The incidence of ESRD is four times higher in African Americans than in whites."

Now, this is not news to most of us who read. In almost every area where there is a large population of so-called Negroes, you will find dialysis centers. There is big money in dialysis. If you have kidney or liver problems then this article post may just help you out.

If you didn't know, the kidneys are two organs that are an essential part of the urinary system and also serve homeostatic functions such as the regulation of electrolytes, maintenance of acid-base balance, and regulation of blood pressure. They serve the body as a natural filter of the blood, and remove wastes which are diverted to the urinary bladder. In producing urine, the kidneys excrete wastes such as urea and ammonium; the kidneys also are responsible for the reabsorption of water, glucose, and amino acids. The kidneys also produce hormones including calcitriol, renin, and erythropoietin.

The liver is a vital organ. It has a wide range of functions (over 500), including detoxification, protein synthesis, and production of biochemicals necessary for digestion. The liver is necessary for survival; there is currently no way to compensate for the absence of liver function. In other words, unlike the kidneys and dialysis, there is no machine that can do what the liver does.

What can you do to protect and save your liver and kidneys?

A healthy liver can help you with weight control, sugar problems i.e., diabetes, boost your immune system, eliminate skin problems, and prevent many chronic diseases. Strong kidneys can aid your blood pressure, detoxify your blood, reduce the amount of deadly acids in the body, and reduce or eliminate swelling, inflammation, and muscle cramps.

Here are some things you can do to help out that liver and kidneys:

1. Drink more pure water. Water absent of sodium fluoride, chlorine and heavy metals is just what the doctor ordered. Pure water is the staff of life. It helps the kidneys to flush toxins from your body, helps to keep the blood at the proper viscosity (i.e. less sticky), and hydrates the cells. Drink at least a quart of water per day.

2. Juice your vegetables. Vegetable juicing is an excellent way to not only get the nutrients that you need but can help to tone, protect and support the kidneys and liver. Vegetable juicing can help these organs detoxify your body. You can add parsley and cilantro to your vegetable juice. They are great detoxifiers and cilantro can remove heavy metals from the body. Just throw in a small handful of each into your juicer. It's potent but good.

3. Drink herbal teas and tonics. The best teas for the kidneys are a combination of red clover, burdock root, dandelion and parsley root. This is an excellent herbal combination that will purify the blood and tone the kidney. Corn silk from organic corn can also be added to the mix as it is also an excellent kidney herb. The best liver herbs are artichoke (you can also juice this plant), licorice, bupleurum and one of my favorite milk thistle seed extract. With the exception of artichokes, you can drink the other herbs in teas. For more on making herbals teas see my previous article titled, How To Make Detox Tea, posted on 4/9/2008.

4. Decrease your consumption of meat to reduce the workload on your kidneys and liver.

5. Supplement with selenium, zinc, vitamin C and Vitamin E. There is also a wonderful fat called lecithin that can not only aid the liver but can help to reverse damage caused by coronary artery disease. If you supplement with lecithin stay away from the ones made from soybeans.

Whether you have a kidney or liver problem, you need to protect and support your kidneys and liver. With all the toxins in our food, air, and water it is not a matter of if but when we will develop liver or kidney problems. If you drink alcohol in excess you can count on developing kidney and liver problems. If you are under stress or smoke you definitely need to protect your liver and kidneys. Fact is, if you take prescription drugs and medication, are around toxins--insecticides, pesticides, paints, smoke, etc, you need to tone, protect and support your liver and kidneys.

So exercise that kidney and liver with herbs, water and vegetable juices. Give them a good healthy workout and they should keep you at the peak of health.

Is That Pill Frying Your Brain?

Is That Pill Frying Your Brain?

Most of us believe that over-the-counter drugs are safe; otherwise they would require a prescription. But nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, most over-the-counter drugs were once prescription drugs. And recent research shows that a certain class of drugs called anticholinergic drugs are sold over the counter but are so dangerous that they can stop your brain from working. An anticholinergic drug is a substance that blocks the neurotransmitters in the brain or nervous system. They include drugs like Tylenol PM, Excedrin PM, and Sominex.

Most people who purchase these drugs think nothing of it. They believe that they are tested and safe. However, this is usually not the case. Anticholinergic drugs can short-circuit the brain. But you may be asking, if these drugs are so dangerous why are they being sold? Money. Pure and simple. It’s so odd to me that some people will want me to spend hours of my time to convince them to try something natural like garlic or milk thistle seed extract. But they won’t spend one second questioning their doctors or a druggist about all the deadly medicines that they take on a daily basis.

Anyway, here's the link to the research on anticholinergic drugs. Please read it for yourselves.

Deadly Brain Drugs

The other thing that caught my attention this week is how the government is so corrupt that it won't even criminally prosecute the big drug companies for fraud. They tell us that the huge billion dollar pharmaceutical companies are too big to fail. So they won't prosecute anyone criminally at those companies. However, if you or I say we have found a natural cure for cancer that really works, we would be arrested and hauled before some corrupt magistrate in no time flat and sent to prison. That's where America is and that's why she cannot be rehabilitated. The corruption is just too deep and the cancer cannot be excised. The whole system must be scrapped.

But now think about this. Pfizer, one of the largest drug companies in the world, is so arrogant and above the law that it agreed to settled their fraud charges for $2.3 billion! Instead of fixing the problems with their false advertising they decided it was better to pay $2.3 billion to settle any litigation than risk losing the billions more they would make via false advertising. In other words, they considered the payout of $2.3 billion just the cost of doing business.

What avarice. Yet hardly anyone is complaining. And all the major drug companies are doing this. It's seems to be the business model for all these drug companies--make $10 billion pay a $500 million fine.

For further details follow this link.

Until next time, guard your health and don’t be afraid to take your health into your hands.

All praises to YAH,

Shalom,

supplements that I would need if I had to rough it for weeks, months or even years away from civilization. I have listed those below (in no particular order). These are what I believe are the most important herbs and natural supplements I would want to have with me.They are all important, but the ones highlighted in red are the ones I would not want to be without.

1. Cayenne.Cayenne or capsicum, is a standard in herbal medicine. It is considered anti-rheumatic(conditions of the muscles, tendons, joints, bones, or nerves),anti-carminative, diaphoretic (produces perspiration), and anti-hemorrhoidal. It is high in vitamin C and is a powerful stimulant. You can order cayenne powder from Pacific Botanicals.

2. Garlic. Garlic is considered a stimulant, diuretic, diaphoretic, and expectorant (it promotes coughing to break up phlegm). It is used to combat infection--it is anti-viral and anti-fugal, eczema, skin rashes, indigestion, urinary tract infections, respiratory ailments, joint pain and stiffness, fight high cholesterol (LDL) and it supports the circulatory system (heart). You can order garlic from Pacific Botanicals.

3. Baking Soda. Is good for just about everything. Indigestion, heart health, overall health and stamina. This is a must have. You can find baking soda at any grocery store.

4. Magnesium oil. Magnesium and baking soda go hand in hand to keep the body in good health. This is another must have. I order my magnesium oil from Ancient Minerals.

5. Supertonic. Contains cayenne and garlic along with other wonderful ingredients that can keep the body well. It can be used to keep you warm, increase and normalize blood circulation, prevent and cure headaches, treat cuts, bruises, burns, and insect bites of all kinds. In fact, if you have a strongly concocted bottle of super tonic you won’t need cayenne and garlic because they are already in the tonic. To make your own supertonic see our up-coming video that will soon be posted to the COFAH website.

6. Menthol crystals come from the peppermint plant. Menthol can be used in vaporizers or hot water to open up constricted airways. You can also pour drops of menthol oil into a cotton cloth and inhale the vapors to decongest your airways. You can order menthol crystals from Mountain Rose Herbs.

Note: Sufferers from allergy-induced asthma may also experience areaction from the inhalation of menthol. For safe and effectivetreatment, menthol should be introduced gradually into a treatment regime, withaccess to conventional medication to relieve any adverse reaction.

7. Slippery Elm. Slippery Elm is a soothing, anti-inflammatory, anti-irritant, demulcent (stool softener) and an expectorant. It is good for inflammation and irritations of the chest, gastro-intestinal membranes, mucous membrane, and urinary irritation. It also works wonders for the appetite. This was the only thing I could eat when I had gastritis/colitis years ago. It is soothing and very nutritious. It is especially recommended for those who are ill and have no appetite. You can get slippery elm from Pacific Botanicals.

8. Epsom salts. Epsom salts can relive acute indigestion like nothing else I know. If you get sick with acute indigestion and can’t get medical attention, take you some Epsom salts. If this can’t move you nothing will. It works very quickly. You can get Epsom salts at any drugstore. Read the directions for use.

9. Spirulina, Chlorella and Barley powder. Chlorella and spirulina are microscopic plants that grow in fresh water. They contain a multitude of nutritious elements: enzymes, vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids, protein, nucleic acids, chlorophyll (magnesium), and a vast array of other phytochemicals. It is believed that spirulina and chlorella contain almost every nutrient needed by the human body. Barley powder is the powdered seedlings of barley grass. Barley powder contains over 30 vitamins and minerals and is a powerful antioxidant. Spirulina, chlorella, and barley powder are often called superfoods because they are so nutritionally dense. You can order these from Pacific Botanicals.

10. Milk Thistle Seed. Milk thistle is a strong liver herb. Milk thistle is so very important as an herb because it protects and supports the liver. The liver is a major organ that detoxifies the body, aids in digestion of fats, assimilates carbohydrates, and proteins, converts sugar into a form that can be stored by your cells, synthesizes cholesterol and other substances needed by the body. You can get these from your local health food store.

11. If you do not have bicarbonate of soda in your home, you may want to get it right away. During this cold and flu season you do not want to be without it. Since so many people are learning of the benefits of bicarbonate of sodium and the fact that it is a safe alternative to many prescription drugs, my concern is that the medical establishment will come after it. Or, someone will taint the product and claim that we must avoid this product like they did with the natural sleep aid called L-Tryptophan (an amino acid).

Some of you may remember that this natural supplement was one of the most effective remedies for the sleep-deprived. Then all of a sudden in 1989 the FDA banned its sale after some people got sick and dozens died. And so that was the end of that. Instead of being able to get this natural supplement from health food stores or over the Internet, people were effectively forced to start buying prescription sleep aids instead. The funny thing is, these prescription drugs kill far more people. According to NaturalNews.Com, 490,000 people have died from prescription drugs from 2001 through 2005…amazing, isn't it?

Now back to the trytophan story. It turns out that only one brand of trytophan was killing folks back in 1989. It was made by a company in Japan. However, the FDA shut down all sales of trytophan by every manufacturer. Why? To be safe? No way. Prescription drugs kill thousands a year and yet the big pharmaceutical companies are not shut down.

The truth is trytophan was working too well. It was killing the profits of prescription sleeping pill makers. So all of a sudden no one could produce trytophan. Later we learned that the batch of trytophan that was coming from this one manufacturer in Japan (Showa Denko) was different from all the rest. How? Their trytophan was genetically modified. Get the picture now? This is what was causing the problem. Showa Denko was not using natural amino acids in their product.

But what does this have to do with bicarbonate of soda and swine flu? Everthing. A similar thing could happen with bicarbonate of soda and it too could be banned. So I'm just saying you may want to stock up now.

What follows is a very good article on how to use baking soda for colds and flu. It also sheds light on how effective baking soda is in treating other diseases. This is a must-read. Either the propaganda media is hyping the vaccines, or someone I know personally is asking me about the shot. I am sooo tired of answering this question for the same people. I want to say, “People, if you have a computer could you please do a little research for yourselves”.

The only thing worse is someone trying to convince me that the shots are effective and are safe. Please…spare me. And if you were to ask these same folk to produce the research that shows that vaccines work and are safe, they morph into third-graders and say “Well, ugh I don’t have it, I guess the dog ate it”. This makes my blood boil because these same people who have done no, nada, el zilcho research are now self-proclaimed experts who persuade others to get the vaccine. Shame on them. If you don’t have a clue, keep the noise to yourselves. Otherwise you are hurting or possibly killing people with your ignorance.

Okay, now that I have gotten that off my chest. Here are some very important things that you may want to share with others about swine flu and vaccines in general.

First check out this video below to see what one of the world’s top virologists who helped develop vaccines have to say about them:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lCus0zB_ilE%am987ature=player_embedded

Now if that is not enough, listen to this 60 Minutes segment. Note that Fort Dix is one of the military facilities that conducts bio weapons research. Also note that the soldier who died at Fort Dix did not infect the sergeant who gave him mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. Strange isn’t it. Also note the lack of testing. Check it out below:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_9I1L_P370%am987ature=PlayList&p=6437AE92DECE0046&index=0&playnext=1

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jPVsZEPfo7Q%am987ature=PlayList&p=6437AE92DECE0046&index=1&playnext=2&playnext_from=PL

Finally, read what doctor Mark Sircus has to say about thimerosal (mercury) and the mechanism by which it works.

http://www.imva.info/news/mercury-madness-continues.html

This is a lot of information I know , but it is for your education and edification. It seems like every day there is another story in the news about this supposed new swine flu virus. Scientists are baffled because this virus seems to be a combination of several viruses and it has the ability to jump species. Whenever I hear something like this, my gut tells me right away that something is amiss. I am convinced that this new swine flu is a rehash of other manufactured, weaponized viruses that were created in some military laboratory.

And now governments around the world are gearing up to vaccinate their populations with this untested vaccine. This, even after Baxter, the giant drug company and maker of bird flu vaccines admitted supplying tainted vaccines in Europe. Who in their right minds would create a vaccine for humans and never even test it? Folks, that’s beyond comprehension. Nobody is that dumb. And this tells me that this release of tainted vaccines was deliberate.

The purpose of this article is not to get you to suffer through my rants, but to help you make informed decisions. First I suggest you read the article and listen to the video that is posted below.

Reasons To Just Say No To Vaccines

Vaccine Swine Flu Hoax 2009

If you want to combat swine flu and other diseases including cancer, high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes and even HIV, then here are some things you can do:

Drink clean water and eat wholesome food. This may mean growing some of your own food and buying either a water filter or distilling your water. While distilled water lacks vital minerals, it is a clean source of water and you can always juice vegetables to get adequate amounts of vitamins and minerals.

Juice your vegetables. As mentioned above, juicing is an excellent way to get the nutrients your body needs. The nutrition found in vegetable juice will help to boost your immune system.

Increase your intake of magnesium. Magnesium is a mineral and is considered the lamp of life. It rejuvenates our cells and raises the pH in our bodies, which in turn increases the oxygen in our bodies. Remember, most harmful microbes cannot survive in an oxygen-rich environment. The best food sources of magnesium are wheat grass and spinach (juice them for best results). Even better sources of magnesium can be found in magnesium oil.

Be sure you keep several pounds of bicarbonate of soda on hand. It is good for just about anything. It will quickly raise your pH and increase oxygen levels in the body. Taken in concert with magnesium it is one of the most potent, non-toxic substances around. The recommended dose is 1 teaspoon in 8 ounces of water, 2-3 times a day. Don’t overdo it. Stick with the recommended dosage.

Keep bottles of Del-Immune V on hand. Del-Immune V is a powerful probiotic that boosts the immune system. It was originally developed from milk by the Russians during the Cold War. It was designed to fight against biological weapon attacks including anthrax.

Keep some Beta Glucan on hand. It too is a powerful immune booster. It is made from yeast.

Drink powerful anti-viral herbal teas. These include astralagus, yew, red clover, and dandelion teas.

Get plenty of Vitamin D. Studies have shown that sufficient amounts of Vitamin D alone can prevent and some say even cure attacks of influenza. In fact, Vitamin D is good for almost any infectious disease. Most of us are not getting enough of this vitamin.

Now, if you already have the flu, according to Dr. Mercola you should take 1,000 units per pound of body weight of Vitamin D all in one dose, every day for three days. So if you weight 150 pounds you would take a 150,000 IU dose for 3 days. If you are concerned about the toxicity of mega doses of vitamin D. The Merck Manual says that in order to produce toxicity; you would need to consume 50,000 IUs a day for several months. So taking mega doses over just 3 days should be very safe.

Drink an ounce of two of super tonic each day if you want to strengthen your immunity. Super tonic contains anti-viral herbs such as garlic.

Get plenty of rest. A good night’s sleep can work wonders for the body.

Increase your intake of Omega-3 fatty acids for overall health. Good sources of omega-3 fats are flaxseed, chia seeds, and cold water ocean fish (e.g., cod).

Wash your hands often to prevent the spread of germs.

Finally, and most important, stay prayerful. Who YAH blesses no one can curse.

Until next time,

Shalom

Carrot Pulp Muffins Recipe

Carrot Pulp Muffins Recipe

This recipe combines carrots and pineapple pulp, the pulp from vegetable juicing. Normally, you should only eat fruit and not juice it, but apples and an occasional pineapple are okay. Also, if you are going to use your pulp, remember to juice the carrots and pineapples first. Then remove that pulp and use it in your muffins. If you don't do this and you are also juicing things like garlic, you may be in for a rude awakening when it comes time to make your muffins. Instead of carrot muffins, you'll only taste the garlic.

Ingredients:
3.5 cups carrot pulp
1 cup pineapple pulp
3 cups whole-grain flour
1 cup safflower oil
1 cup honey
6 egg whites
1 tbsp vanilla
1 tbsp baking soda
2 tbsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1 cup crushed nuts

Directions:
Here are the steps to make your muffins. Preheat your oven to 350 deg. Mix up the pulp from carrots and pineapple well. Add egg whites, honey, vanilla and oil to the mix. Sift the flour, baking soda, cinnamon and nutmeg together and add it gradually to mixture, stirring until it’s blended. Mix in the nuts.

Pour the batter into greased muffin cups making sure to leave some room (about 1/4 from the top) for expansion.

Bake for 45 minutes.

Makes a dozen muffins.

Also, don't be afraid to experiment with this recipe. Add or change ingredients as you see fit.

And by all means, let me know how your muffins turn out. I have not tried making muffins from the vegetable juice pulp. My sister-in-law has and she just loves them. If you come up with a better recipe, we want to know.

Sodium Bicarbonate—The Natural Wonder Drug

Sodium Bicarbonate—The Natural Wonder Drug
<?xml:namespace prefix = o />
Sodium bicarbonate has been reported to cure headaches, colds, cancer and other ailments. That’s right, I said cancer. Dr. Mark Sircus is one of the pioneers of sodium bicarbonate therapy. He has not only done a tremendous amount of research in this area, he has actually treated his own patients with this therapy. If you want the bible on treating disease with bicarbonate of soda, get a copy of his book by that name, “Sodium Bicarbonate”. The sodium bicarbonate used by Dr. Sircus is the same as that found in most kitchens today. You probably know it as plain old baking soda.

Dosage And How To Take Bicarbonate Soda

The best time to take bicarbonate of soda is at night (that’s because your body is most acidic at night). If your urinary pH is below 5.6, Dr. Parhatsathid Nabadalung, another proponent of sodium bicarbonate, recommends taking both sodium bicarbonate and potassium bicarbonate. Obviously this means that you will need to know the pH of your urine. pH measures how acidic or how alkaline a solution is. The more acidic our bodies, the more prone we are to serious disease such as cancer and heart disease.

pH can be measured by your doctor. Doctors can measure the pH of the blood, the pH of the mouth, or they can test the pH of the urine. Usually the pH of the urine is measured. However, blood pH is usually the most precise measure. The ideal blod pH is 7.365 according to Dr. Robert o. Young.

Potassium bicarbonate like sodium biarbonate, is safe and non-toxic. It is used in baking and as a buffering agent in medicine. You can get it in some drug stores or over the Internet. It is often sold by companies on the Internet who offer beer and winemaking kits. Potassium bicarbonate is used to increase the alkalinity of wine.

The usual dosage for sodium bicarbonate if you suffer from arthritis, gout or any other rheumatic diseases is 1 teaspoon mixed in an 8 ounce glass of water twice a day. As mentioned previously, try to take at least one dose before going to bed. You can take it more frequently for faster results. However, the maximum dose is 3 ½ teaspoons in a 24 hour period. Also, as I stated before, if your pH is below 5.6, you should take ½ teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate and ½ teaspoon of potassium bicarbonate mixed in an 8 ounce glass of water. Again, do this twice a day at least once at bedtime.

Whether taking baking soda alone or in combination with potassium bicarbonate, only do so for two week periods at a time. That is, take the recommended dosage for 2 weeks then take a one week break. Continue this routine until the pain completely goes away and you are cured.

I plan to continue taking baking soda the rest of my life because of its health giving effects and its ability to prevent chronic disease. I generally take 1 teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of water prior to bedtime. I do this 3-4 times a week. It is safe and a cheap form of preventative medicine. Arm and Hammer says that its baking soda is aluminum-free. If and until I learn differently, I will continue to use it as part of my therapy.

Does Sodium Bicarbonate Raise Blood Pressure?

This is one of the questions I usually get asked. The answer is no. Scientific studies show that “sodium bicarbonate as well as citrate and phosphate salts do not raise blood pressure to the same extent as do the corresponding amounts of sodium chloride (table salt)”. Studies show that sodium bicarbonate does not have any effect on blood pressure.

But what about stomach acid, doesn’t sodium bicarbonate neutralize stomach acid and therefore interferes with digestion? This is another question that often comes up. Well, while sodium bicarbonate neutralizes acid, it actually protects digestive enzymes in the stomach. Furthermore, bicarbonate is actually produced by the stomach. Finally, based on research conducted by William Beaumont and others, when taken on an empty stomach, sodium bicarbonate bypasses the “stomach acid mechanism” and passes right through to the intestinal tract where it begins to do its miraculous work.

Plain old baking is such an amazing natural compound that you should not be without it. I am moving baking soda along with magnesium chloride to the top of the list of remedies for arthritis, gout, and other rheumatic diseases. These two remedies are also key weapons against cancer, heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, and diabetes.

Don't just take my word for it. Please, I encourage you to do your own research. We must all learn to take responsibility for our own health.
Walk Off Pounds - How to Shed Pounds and Inches in As Little As 7 Days

<!--RADEDITORSAVEDCOMMENT[if gte mso 9]><xml>

Walk Off Pounds - How to Shed Pounds and Inches in As Little As 7 Days<?xml:namespace prefix = o />

They say that each new journey in life begins with one small step and the same can certainly be said of losing weight. All you need to do to start shedding the pounds is to start moving. The easiest way to get your body in motion is to start walking. Even if you are a hundred pounds or more overweight just walking around the block can start you on the road to a fitness plan. Fitness experts say that just walking one hour a day can keep you fit and trim for life.

Walking to lose weight is also one of the cheapest and safest ways to exercise. You don't need to wear special clothes or to splurge on a pricey gym membership. Just take a long walk every day.

You can lose weight by just strolling. But that approach takes a lot longer than if you walk with some vigor and intensity in your step. Walk fast and try to get your heart rate up. The faster your heart is pumping the faster you will develop fat-burning muscle and the more weight you will lose.

You can lose at least one pound a week by walking at a moderate pace every day for at least half an hour to an hour every week. Also when you walk you will be cutting your chances of developing stress-related disorders like anxiety and depression. Walking every day can also help reduce your risk of cancer, stroke, osteoporosis (bone loss), and heart disease.

Weight loss is all about taking in fewer calories than you expend. Losing a pound of fat means burning 3,500 calories. In order to lose that one pound of weight a week you will need to burn off 3,500 more calories than you consumed for that entire week.

Yet another principle to keep in mind when it comes to walking your weight off is that the length of time that you spend out walking does not matter as much as the amount of distance covered during your walk. The faster you walk the more calories you will burn per mile or kilometer. So if you want to lose two pounds a week you might have to walk one and half to two hours a week at a moderate pace to reach your goal. To lose more than that, walk three or four hours a week.

There is also what fitness experts call the optimal fat-burning pace, or the determined pace. A determined pace is a good walking pace. This means that you are not ambling along but instead walking so that you are breathing a little harder than usual. A psychological trick for finding this fat burning pace is to pretend that you are late for an important meeting while you are walking.

You do not have to spend your entire walk moving at the optimal determined pace. You can almost treat it like interval training by alternating faster paced walking with ambling. Periodically getting your heart rate up in this manner is very good for you, not stressful and encourages weight loss.

Try and get your body's heart rate up for as many minutes as you can. Usually your body lets you know when it is time to break out of the faster optimal pace and lapse back into a stroll for a while.

Walking every day can also help boost your immune system. However, you should be careful if you have a disease where raising the immune system's capabilities is not a good idea, or if you are recovering from a major illness. Make sure you consult a doctor before you begin any kind of exercise program--including a plan to walk your weight off, especially if you are recovering from illness.

Walking is one exercise that most of us can do. And it may just come in handy in these last days. For as Brother Yahya keeps reminding us, once Mystery Babylon moves closer to its complete collapse, the Father might require us Hebrew Israelites to "hike" a bit before we reach or find a place of refuge!

Shalom Ysrayl,
